They say that the Bible is a mirror because it shows us exactly who we are. So, I encourage you to take it up and start fixing that outward presentation.
I love the saying, "God's Word never changes, the culture changes." There is nothing missed in the Bible and there is wisdom for every situation. Even if the culture is different, God's Living Word still applies.
We look at the book of Titus to see an important two-fold reminder God has saved for us. "How much more intentional can our God get? It's almost like He knows that we are a forgetful people who will be distracted by our own emotion, rationality, and urges."
